Christmas Gift Guide #2 The Bakewell Soap Co.

I always find at Christmas that I have several people to buy for who I just don't know well enough! Whether it's a secret Santa gift or a member of my boyfriends family, sometimes I need something nice and Christmassy that everyone can get use out of. A nice Christmas soap ticks all the boxes!

Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh and Christmas Snowflake Handmade Soaps £3.45 each*

The Bakewell Soap Co. was founded in 2001 in Australia and was moved to England in 2005. Based on the site of an old watermill, they take inspiration from the spectacular natural surroundings of the Peak District National Park incorporating local, hand picked ingredients into many of their multi-award winning products. Bakewell soaps are 100% cruelty free and made using sustainably produced palm.

Each soap is beautifully wrapped in waxed paper with a lovely Christmassy label displaying the product information.

A blend of Patchouli, Cedarwood, Clove, Frankincense and Sweet Orange Oils combine perfectly for a sweet, spicy scent.Myrrh Gum adds warm yellow/orange tones while 24 karat gold mica ensures this soap sparkles when used. Fit for a king!

Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh is a rich, spicy and sweet smelling soap. The soap is very firm and doesn't crumble or fall apart when used. It has a lovely gold colour to it making it feel both Christmassy and luxurious.

As white as the driven snow with the crisp smell of fresh figs.
This creamy, goat's milk soap contains fig extract for increased hydrating and moisturising properties.

In contrast to the spicy smell of the gold soap, this is a really fresh and crisp smelling soap. This reminds me of the scent of fresh washing. If you have smelt Yankee Candle's  Clean Cotton, this reminds me very much of that. I love the idea that this is goats milk based and have never come across a product similar before.

With the cute names, lovely packaging and addictive scents these are gorgeous Christmas gifts. They would be a perfect wee gift for someone at work or a lovely stocking filler.

These soaps can be purchased from http://bakewellsoap.co.uk where postage is a very reasonable £2.95 on all orders!
