Along Came Betty Br-Wow Brow Kit - Review

I live in a small town and find that many brands are not available to me because of that. Recently I had heard bloggers talkig about Tesco having Sleek and so I went to all of my many local stores to check it out. Of course, none of the Tesco stores near me stocked Sleek but I did come across Along Came Betty which I had never heard of before.

I bought this brow kit for the amazing bargain price of £3.49. When I researched online I saw this listed as £5.49 so I'm not sure if perhaps this was an on offer when I bought it. The packaging is cute and is clearing modelled on brands like Soap & Glory and Benefit.

Case of Along Came Betty Br-wow

I have the Fair/Medium kit and I didn't see any other shades on offer. I actually have fairly dark brows bit the instructions on the back included deal brows and I felt like the colours were right for me. I think perhaps this kit is only available in one shade.

The brush from Along Came Betty Br-wow

Inside the kit there are 2 colours of powder; fair and brown. The kit also includes wax, powder and a double ended brush. The brush is really good. It has an angled brush on one end for applying the product and a small eyebrow shaping brush on the other which I find really handy.

I brush my brows using the brush tool and then apply the fake powder straight on with the brush. Using the brush I pad on a little of the wax and then I use on of my smaller real techniques brushes, usually the deluxe crease brush, to apply a little of the powder on top. This kit is easy to use and gives me a great result. My brows stay put all day and I don't have any smudging or hairs falling out of place.

I definitely recommend giving this a go, especially if you can get it at the reduced price.

Have you tried anything from this brand?
