You Beauty Discovery Box March 2014

I cancelled my subscription to Glossybox a few months ago now. I wasn't unhappy with the service, I just needed to save my money for other things. Now that I have a little more budget for these things I have decided to try a few different subscriptions, like the YouBeauty Discovery box.

 

The idea of this box is quite different to Glossybox and, as you can see, the box is a lot smaller. This service is £6.95 including postage and packaging, making it nearly half the price of the other beauty subscriptions available.
For those of you not familiar with the YouBeauty Discovery box the idea is that you choose 2 products from a monthly list and these are sent to you along with a few little extras. The products available to choose from will be a mix of sample and full sizes and a variety of different products for face, body or hair.

 

The box is really cute and I will definitely use it again for storage. Inside, the box comes with a mini mag. The magazine contains details of all the products that were available and has discount codes. These discount codes are actually really decent and I used one straight away.

Inside, the items are nicely packaged in paper straw. The added extras this month were two Dragonfly tea bags and an accessory from The Vintage Cosmetic Company. My accessory is these cute blue toe seperators which I'm quite happy with as I already have the eyelashes and tweezers which were also on offer.

Now for the products that I chose.
Dr. Lip Original Nipple Balm for lips
I have seen so many good reviews of this so I'm excited to try it. This product is £11 and I recieved a full size so already the box is a bargain!
BeautyLab Glyco Face Wash
This is a really decent size for a sample at 100ml. Full size is 200ml for £32 making this sample worth £16. This product looks really interesting and boasts some impressive ingredients.

I am really impressed with this box and will definitely be continuing my subscription.
