Hair Week Day1 - Biorganics Salon Secrets - Review

My hair is not my best feature. It's lifeless and dry and can look damaged with lots of fly-always. So when I was offered the chance to try these new products from Biorganics, I was excited to see the results.

The Salon Secrets range of luxury hair care is designed to combat dry, damaged and frizzy hair caused by heat styling, colouring and environmental exposure. Our natural, replenishing ingredients revitalise and hydrate for lustrous healthy hair.

The range contains 3 products - a shampoo, a treatment that acts as a conditioner and a hair perfecting oil.

All 3 products are free from parabens, SLS and artificial colours or perfumes. They are all cruelty free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The packaging of these products is great quality and very sleek. It feels like a salon quality product.

Replenishing Shampoo £11.50 for 250ml
The first step in the range is the shampoo. This contains Argan oil to restore hair, wheat protein to strengthen and lavender and ylang-ylang oils to sooth. The shampoo is a clear liquid and fairly thick meaning that you don't need to apply much. It doesn't lather up due to the lack of SLS but you do get a slight soap bubble as you rub it in. I love the smell of this shampoo. It has a slight lavender hint to it and is very sweet. The shampoo rinses out easily and leaves your hair very light. I am sometimes prone to a flakey scalp but didn't have any problems with this products. My hair felt light and clean and my scalp was clear.

Replenishing Treatment £15.50 for 250ml
The next step is the treatment which takes the place of a conditioner. This contains vegetable proteins to repair damage, Argan oil to hydrate and sunflower seed extract to portent against UV. The bottle has a pump which allows for easy dispensing. I used 5 or 6 pumps on my long but fine hair. The bottle says to leave this to work for 5-10 minutes. I have used this several times, leaving it from 2 minutes to 15. This treatment works well when left for a few minutes and hair feels smooth but when left for 15 I felt like I had just come from the salon! This has a real luxury feel to it and leaves your hair sleek and smooth with a gorgeous shine.

Salon Secret Elixer - Hair Percecting Oil £13 for 50ml
The final step of the range is this hair oil. This oil is designed to smooth frizz, add shine and strengthen and repair hair. It is also good for protect from heat styling and can speed up blow-drying time. The packaging advises to use between 1-3 pumps depending on your hair. I have long hsir and so I used 2 pumps of this but my hair is fine and this was far too much! Less is more with this product and after some experimenting I found that I only need half a pump which I rub in my hand and apply to the length of my hair. I particularly like the product for smoothing on my pleats when I intend to leave them to try for wavy hair.

This whole range has a luxury feel to it and has done wonders for my hair. I was especially impressed at the shampoo which is my favourite product from the range.

All 3 products can be purchased in a bundle for £35 or you can buy the shampoo and treatment together for £25 - http://www.biorganics.co.uk/salon-secrets
