Wishlist #1

This is my first wishlist post and I'm mainly posting it so that my lovely readers can tell me whether these products are worth purchasing or not! With payday on its way, I am hoping to treat myself to one of these in the coming weeks and need to decide which one!

Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed - Intensive-action pore-refining facial peel:
I love masks and recently I have tried to stick to a routine of one mask a week. Recently I fell in love with Amie clay mask, which I wrote about here. I wanted to make this my regular mask and went to Boots to buy it only to be told they were sold out and so was the website! I love Soap & Glory and have heard great things about this mask. But at £11 a bottle, is it worth it?

BH Cosmetics Contour and Blush Palette:
I have only recently come across this after watching a contouring tutorial where the girl used this product. It is a really big palette with 6 colours; 2 highlighters, 2 bronzers and 2 blushers. I want this! BH Cosmetics are an American company but this can be bought on Amazon and at the moment it is at sale price £11.95!

Benefit Porefessional Primer:
I'm a huge primer fan and love the way it makes me makeup stay put for the whole day. This primer has excellent reviews and I have heard nothing but good things. At the moment I am using a Rimmel primer that retails at £6.99. This primer is £24.50 for 22ml and, as much as I want it, I'm not sure my budget can stretch to that!

Real Techniques Core Collection:
I want this so badly. I feel like I am the only girl in the world yet to own this set of brushes! My love for brushes is growing and there is no more talked about set than this one. At £21.99 I have always thought this set a little expensive but I know now that it is worth the money. It is only a matter of time before I give in and splash the cash!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion:
A fellow blogger recently told me about this and I would really love to try it. I don't often use an eyeshadow primer but have started to experiment with different eyeshadows and would like to see how this makes them pop or affects their lasting quality. At £15 this is a higher end product but one that I wouldn't be using every day so would last me a while.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette:
This needs no introduction. I want it. So if anyone has a spare £36 kicking about - send it my way!

So that is my first wishlist post! If I give in to temptation and buy any of the products then I will review them.

Have you got any of these? Are they as good as they look?

Don't forget to follow :)

  1. I personally didn't get along with benefit's the porefessional; it really sinks into pores so it clogged mine terribly and made me break out :( The NAKED2 palette is absolutely worth the splurge though... if I could only have one eyeshadow palette (say it ain't so!) that would probably be the one!

  5. If you are an eyeshadow wearer, the Naked 2 palette is so good! I don't really wear eyeshadows so I prefer to invest in just a couple of basic colours xx

  12. I don't know if you know this but there are dupes for SOME of the Real Techniques brushes on eBay. I have a fair few of the RT Brushes, including the expert face brush/buffing brush... that brush on its own costs around £10. On eBay you can get one for £2.50 from Hong Kong. Looks almost exactly the same, uses the same taklon bristles, has almost the exact same handle and does the exact same job for 1/4 of the price. You may have to wait two weeks for the post but if price is an issue then go on eBay. Type in Foundation Brush, press search and you'll see what I mean.
P.S; Urban Decay's (Original) Eyeshadow Primer Potion is fantastic, one of the best I've used so far, definitely worth every penny. Just make sure you buy the squeezy tube one as the solid, genie-shaped bottle with the wand wastes around 1/3 of the product as the wand never reaches parts of the stupidly-shaped-bottle. People have done videos on YouTube, cutting open bottles of their UDPP and finding - to their utter dismay - plenty of product still stuck to the walls of the bottle!
Again, sorry for the long comment! xxx

    1. Il need to check those out! I saw someone on you tube with so,w dupes once and they looked just as good.
Oh thanks for the tip, that annoys me so much with makeup, you always lose some in the packaging and I hate when they make it difficult to get into!!!!

  13. You can get the core collection brushes on amazon for cheaper or I got mine from a site called iherb for around $16 but its an American website and takes a while to get here. I got quite a few of the brushes from this site and saved a good few pounds! I really want the Naked2 palette and that BH palette looks interesting.
    Lovely blog!
